Clean and Simple Valentine

The challenge at CAS-ual Fridays (clean and simple challenge blog) is Love ya always - simple paper piecing.

Clean and simple style is quite a challenge for me! I have a hard time with all that white space, and just want to add embellies, layers, ribbon, etc.  Here is my card:

For the background, I scored a line on my Scor-Pal one inch from the bottom on the white layer before putting it in the Cuttlebug Heart Blocks embossing folder. Place the paper in the folder so that the heart design just reaches the scored line (leaving the blank space at the bottom for the stamped verse, Stampabilities  #QR1053 "My Heart to Yours")

I cut several different sized hearts from a Sizzix die in plain and patterned paper scraps, then stitched them together.  The hearts are mounted on foam tape, and the smaller inside hearts are folded upwards to add dimension.

This is a very quick card to put together!
