Valentine Tag

Sir Tim has decided to take a new direction with his tags - instead of doing twelve tags at Christmas, he will be doing one a month now. Here's his blog post and link to his valentine tag.

So last night, I made this tag:

I  cut a tag using the TH Alterations Movers & Shapers tag die from Ranger manilla cardstock. For the background I followed Tim's technique, but instead of using the paint dabber on a rubber stamp, I painted the dabber on the raised areas of my Cuttlebug "Heart Blocks" folder before inserting the tag. When I ran it through the Bug, the paint transferred to the manilla cardstock in the debossed areas. Then I followed the rest of his technique with the distress inks, wiping of the paint resist, and misting.

Now for all the other details:
-Bingo Card is an acrylic stamp by Stampers Anonymous done in black with sponging in Spun Sugar, Pumice Stone and Fired Brick distress inks. I placed a metal heart embellie over the #14 on the card.
-Cupid is a Quickutz die with red stickles. His arrow is pointing to the #14.
-Heart is cut from Spellbinders Scalloped Heart die. White layer is an older Impression Obsession stamp "Friends Heart"
-The "L" playing card and date verse at the bottom are cardstock accessories from a kit by My Mind's Eye "Love Me".
- I used a Tim's clip ring to hang one of his Ideaology Bauble pearls, and a silver love word charm that I had in my stash.
-Printed sheer heart ribbon, and red ruffled ribbon are threaded through the top.
-Silver german foil lace at the bottom.
