I started this the day after Tim published his April tag and got most of it done; that is, except for the pinecone die roses. I have tried twice to create them and gave up! So this morning I made a tattered flower and added it to the bottom of the tag, along with a leafy flourish, and locket at the top.
I didn't have the strip die Tim used and had to improvise. I found a design on the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge, placed 8 of them on the screen and "welded" to create a lattice pattern. Then cut it from grungeboard and followed the rest of the technique. Silver Mirror cardstock was used in place of the Tim's Mirror sheets.

Sharon your take on this month's tag is wonderful even though you struggled with the pinecone flower die. The Tattered flower looks great on the tag . Love the welded circles.
ReplyDeleteYour tag looks fantastic, Sharon. I haven't come across the pinecone die around here but would love to give it a try. I think your tattered flower looks perfect on the tag.
ReplyDeleteGreat tag Sharon. Love the tones and circles. Very nicely done. Karen.x
